Meet the Artist: Marianela

Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Marianela Freites discovered early that creativity was her language. What began at a kitchen table — threading beads into little expressions of love — became a lifelong devotion to craftsmanship.

Self-taught and endlessly curious, Marianela experimented with wirework, crochet, and artisan jewelry techniques, finding joy in transforming simple materials into pieces that hold meaning. As a mother, creating became her way to nurture — each handmade piece carrying a story of home, resilience, and beauty.

Today, Marianela continues to craft every Beads & Brush creation with the same intention: love you can wear.
